For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
No battle we face is ours alone. God in His wisdom has prepared us for what we face. His Holy Spirit leads and guides. He provides His strength in our weakness. The power that raised Christ from the dead is ours. The enemy has been defeated. The enemy of addiction, the enemy of fear, the enemy of hopelessness, the enemy of loneliness–all have been defeated. Christ has claimed the victory for us. We are not victims held hostage, but victors set free. We are not called to accept defeat or surrender but are called to go forth in faith. God has this. Whatever we face He knows what we need and will provide. Praying this day we stand armed in the battles we face knowing the enemy has been subdued.
