For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
Have you ever felt a bit unprepared? Have you felt you weren’t ready for a task or job before you? I have. Sometimes it seems like that happens daily. Our job is to prepare the best way we know how and then allow God to arm us for the battles we face. I think each of us has been in a situation where we felt like more people were wanting us to fail rather than succeed. It may have been a project. It may be a relationship. It may be the need to forgive someone. Their desire for us to fail can be overcome by keeping our eyes on what God has given. He has prepared us for the task at hand. His Holy Spirit dwells within us with the power of heaven. The enemy wants us to lose sight of the victory already provided. The enemy has already been subdued. He has already lost. The battle is not ours to fight alone. The Lord is on our side, we need not fear. What battle are you facing today? God’s strength is yours. Claim your holy boldness. You are victorious. Praying this day we believe victory has been provided and the enemy has been defeated.
