Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not always successful in keeping my plans and ideas out of God’s way. I often interrupt and make a total mess of things. There’s a saying that a “bought lesson is a learned lesson.” Well, through the years I’ve bought quite a few. If I had only done it God’s way, in His timing and with His leading I could have saved hardship and heartache. The absolute wonderful attribute of our Heavenly Father is He allows “do overs.” He’s willing to give us another chance. He is able to bring good out of our mistakes. He believes in restoring and forgiving. He is always willing to show us the way no matter how lost we become. Praying this day we give up our stubbornness and allow Him to lead us to His path of goodness.
