And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

In the past when I’ve thought about this verse I recalled it with the word “needs” plural. But the verse actually reads “need” singular tense. One need. That need is salvation. Paul tells us in this verse that need is supplied by Christ. His death and His resurrection supplies our need. All our needs are wrapped in the one basic need of Jesus. By His stripes we are healed. By His death we are forgiven and by His resurrection we are made whole for eternity. What more could we need when we have this?  Praying this day we have our need met by the glory of Christ, our Savior.
