He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.
God is a God of mercy. We do not receive what we deserve. Our sins condemn us, but His mercy reaches out to us. His love covers us from a cross on a hillside. By Christ’s sacrifice and our repentance our sin is cast into a sea not to be remembered. Mercy and grace are God’s gifts to His children. His compassion overcomes His anger and disappointments with us. His love overshadows our shortcomings. His mercy is our banner. Praying this day we welcome His faithfulness.
