To perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant.
God never forgets a promise. His covenant made with Abraham is still being honored. Generation after generation His promises continue faithfully. God’s mercy continues. We do not receive the punishment deserved for our sins. His promise of redemption is ours. Salvation came swaddled in Bethlehem’s manger as promised. Grace is delivered to the children of God as promised. Every promise recorded in God’s word was, is and will be fulfilled. Praying this day we, His children, take Him at His word receiving His mercy.
