Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness.
Because of God’s faithfulness and mercy each day we have opportunities. We have an opportunity to develop a deeper and more personal relationship with Him. Each new day we have an opportunity to forgive others. We have an opportunity to forgive ourselves. We have the opportunity to reach out and lift others up, to show mercy as we’ve been shown mercy by Christ. Each new day we have the opportunity to repent, start over and try harder. God shows us His compassion each day. What a remarkable gift–the gift of a second chance. A third chance, a fourth, fifth, sixth–and on and on. We are not consumed, but blessed with His faithfulness. Praying this day we extend mercy and compassion each new morning.
