To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. That they may be called trees of righteousness. The planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.
God is able to turn everything around. He is able to lift us from our lowest point. He can bring good out of disaster. Sorrow can be replaced with joy at his command. This is possible when we walk with Him. When we choose to walk alone in times of despair we do not have the strength or might to change things. Holding onto to His hand gives us strength to carry on. He will shed light in our darkness. He stills the storms that rise in our hearts. When we’re completely burned out He brings beauty from our smoldering ashes. We often times are a complete mess. That’s okay. The Potter has the ability to reform the clay into masterpieces. Praying this day we allow His beauty to rise from our ashes.
