I, yes, I alone, will blot out your sins for My own sake and will never think of them again. NLT
When we confess and repent of our sins, the cross casts them into God’s lake of forgetfulness. Christ’s blood is the power that blots out our sins. God sent Jesus to satisfy the cost of sins. The enemy is the one who brings up our sins over and over again. He is the one that torments us with guilt and unworthiness. God’s love has cleansed our sin. Jesus paid for our sin on Calvary. Once covered by His blood, it’s Christ’s righteousness that our Heavenly Father sees. For years, I have heard saints of the church say, “Plead the blood.” Saints, this is our battle cry against the enemy. Praying this day, we confess our sins in repentance, plead the blood, and trust God’s forgiveness and promise of forgetfulness.
