And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
In the past couple of weeks the word “weary” has become personal. I have found myself describing my sense and being as “weary.” So as I read this verse this morning I feel certain this message is for me. My focus should continue to be on doing good where I can for who I can. The due season of this pandemic will one day end. My directive is not to lose heart. There are people around me that give me tremendous support and kindness. I love them. There are so many who share in the weariness but keep on trudging taking that next step. Above all we have a God that provides us rest and strength for the next step. There will be a season of reaping. A season of looking back and harvesting the good we have done. So today I’m praying not to lose heart and give it my all to do good for someone. Praying this day we overcome the weariness of the season.
