Therefore I will save My flock, and they shall no longer be a prey, and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

God’s promise is salvation. He will not allow us to be taken as prey before the enemy.  We cannot be taken from His hand. He knows His children.  His children stand out in the “pasture” or crowd. He knows us. He knows who calls Him Father. He is known by those He’s saved.  Separation comes from the individual who chooses not to follow the Good Shepherd, but fall to the wiles of the wolves in the world. The wolf in sheep’s clothing may deceive the world but he is unable to deceive God.  The fable of the wolf in sheep’s clothing warns listeners to be careful not to be taken in.  God stands by to save us from being taken in by the enemy. He provides His Holy Spirit to reveal those that desire to deceive us. He makes known to us the wolves who prey upon us. Praying this day we are saved and guided by the Good Shepherd.
