The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.
We aren’t very good at being still are we? We often find ourselves constantly on the run. We feel the need to be on the go trying to handle everything at once. God knows the battles we are fighting. He is prepared with the answers and the victory, but we get in the way. We keep things stirred up. We think everything depends on us and our ability. The truth is we can depend on Him. He has it. He has it all. The pandemic caused many to step back and realize being still wasn’t that bad. It became a time to regroup, reconnect, rethink and allowed God to realign priorities. Yet, now as we look around the “stillness” is once again fading. Why must we always learn lessons the hard way? Human nature wants to be in control. We need to learn to lean more on our spiritual nature. The one in tune with God’s Holy Spirit. The one that finds comfort being still in God’s sweet Presence. Praying this day we give God our battles and rest in the stillness of victory.
