For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Jesus through His sacrifice on the cross brought reconciliation to us. We now have complete access to our Heavenly Father. The curtain of separation has been torn. There’s no need for an appointment to come to God. No one has to go before us to set up a meeting. No pretentious networking is required. No secret service agents to get by. No secret passwords are needed. We have access to the God that created all things. No one has to bring our petition to Him. No one has to announce our arrival before Him. There’s no need to become perfect or sinless before we come. He wants us to come as we are, from where we are and savor His grace and mercy. He wants us. We are welcomed. We are loved. He is ready to see Christ’s righteousness in us. He sees the adopted children He calls His own. Because it’s spiritual and not physical we may take this gift of access for granted. We have access to God. We are in His Presence. He takes our every call. He hears our every prayer. Total access. Jesus has opened the door. Praying this day we are thankful for undeniable access to our God.
