I hear the Savior say, "thy strength indeed is small, Child of weakness watch and pray, find in Me thine all in all.
Lord, now indeed I find, Thy pow'r and Thine alone, can change the leper's spots and melt my heart of stone.
For nothing good have I, whereby Thy grace to claim, I'll wash my garments white in the blood of Calv'ry's Lamb.
And when before the throne, I stand in Him complete, "Jesus died my soul to save," my lips shall still repeat.
Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe; sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

I love the old faithful hymns I grew up with. They remind me of the simple truths. Jesus paid it all. There’s nothing we can bring to earn our way into heaven. All through the ages mankind has only been able to offer sin to our Savior. Jesus willingly takes our sin and through His blood cleanses us so that we might be righteous before God. This basic truth frees us from our feeble attempts to gain salvation. No matter what good we do, no matter how many Bible verses we can recite, no matter our attendance in church, our soul truth is—- Jesus paid it all. Nothing we do changes His grace and mercy. All to Him we owe, our sins are crimson stains, He washes them white as snow.  Praying this day our lips repeat, “Jesus died my soul to save.”
