And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
The peace of God is not like the world describes peace. It’s more than the absence of conflict. It is a peace that often passes our understanding. It’s a peace that despite conflict, frustration and uncertainty we sense His Presence and know deep within our being we will be safe because of Christ. We can allow our hearts to be guided by His peace. It’s the knowledge no matter what we are facing God has us. It’s the comfort of knowing we are never alone. Difficulties do not magically disappear but as they occur we are given strength, hope and peace about them. There is nothing God cannot do. There is nothing He cannot overcome. Praying this day we accept His peace without understanding and give Him thanks–for His sweet, beautiful peace.
