If the world from you withhold of its silver and its gold, and you have to get along with meager fare, just remember in His word, how He feeds the little bird. Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
If your body suffers pain and your health you can't regain, and your soul is almost sinking in despair; Jesus knows the pain you feel. He can save and He can heal. Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
When your enemies assail and your heart begins to fail, don't forget that God in heaven answers prayer; He will make a way for you and will lead you safely through; take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
Leave it there, leave it there. Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there. If you trust and never doubt, He will surely bring you out; Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.

It’s easy for us to take our burdens and problems to the Lord. We do it almost daily don’t we? The hard part for us is to leave them. We won’t let go. We reach back and pick them up and carry them with us. We convince ourselves we might know better. We think we may be able to solve the problem. Or maybe we feel some unexplainable comfort in worry and misery. When we do this we’re basically not trusting God. God knows us. He knows our situations. He knows the answers. Yet, we choose often to try to handle it on our own. We often bear a burden we don’t need to carry. We often fight a fight that isn’t ours. We often suffer a pain needlessly. We often are sure of strength when our weakness overpowers. We are stubborn. It’s pretty much that simple. I often wonder if God as He watches us shakes His head in disbelief wondering why we don’t trust Him. Why do we doubt Him?  We all have burdens. Burdens we don’t want to bear or carry. Praying this day we take them to the Lord and leave them there in His loving hands.
