Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.
This is an invitation given to us because God knows how much we need rest. He knows how our jobs and schedules weigh us down. He knows how the every day issues worry us. He knows our frustrations, our anxious moments and our times of fear. God knows our need to release all of this. He wants to carry our burdens for us. He sent His Son to carry the weight of our sins. That in itself should be enough, but our Heavenly Father knows we need more. He’s ready to provide for our weary needs. To rest in Him is complete respite healing. Praying this day we go to Him releasing our burdens and rest in His loving arms.
