"For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet, who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"

Such a time as this. For Esther and her father’s people the time was now. She was in the perfect place at the perfect time. God’s plans were laid before the foundation of the earth. Your existence is part of God’s plan. The time and place you are in is “such a time as this.”  I think we all know someone who entered our lives and circumstances at the exact time we needed them. I have had my share of “Esthers.” I’m sure you have too. Have you ever considered you might very well be that Esther in someone’s life? Maybe you’re called to comfort, encourage, pray, listen, hold a hand or buy a cup of coffee. Esther moments—for such a time as this. Whole nations may not be depending on us, but someone needs us in their time as this. Praying this day we are thankful for the “Esthers” in our lives and become the “Esther” we’re called to be in  times as this.
