For You have armed me with strength for the battle.
We never go into our battles alone. We never have to fight our battles with our own strength. David faced his giant knowing God had him. The battle wasn’t his, but God’s. God reminds us often in His word of His promise to defeat the enemies that rise against us. We need only be still and know that He is God. Are you facing a battle today? Addiction? Depression? Grief? Anxiety? Fear? Separation? We each have a giant standing before us. But, God is standing with us, beside us and behind us. We face no battle alone. His strength is ours for the asking. Pride and stubbornness often stall our victory. Praying this day we step aside and allow God to strengthen and overcome the enemy of our fight.
