And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.
God’s Holy Spirit has been given to us to abide with us forever. We have not been left alone to face the difficulties of life. We have help. God’s guidance and strength is ours. His Holy Spirit offers intercession on our behalf when we are unable to utter a word. His Spirit leads us in perfect peace. He prepares us for the battles we encounter with the enemy. His comfort is always present. His still small voice leads the way. Jesus asked God for this. He ssked this for us and God answered. God’s power is manifested through His Holy Spirit. That power indwells in us. He is with us forever. Praying this day we feel His presence and take comfort in this eternal promise we are not alone.
