Don't copy the behavior and customs of the world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
As kids we want to be a super hero. As teenagers we want to be like the others. As adults we seem to be always wanting the next best thing. We seem to spend much of our lives being everything but who we are. Each one of us has been created for a specific purpose. Each one of us has been blessed with a certain gift and talent. Often we spend precious moments wishing for the talents of others and miss so many opportunities to use and excel with our own gifts. It’s past due time that we step back and allow God to change our thinking. He is able to transform us back into what He intended. By changing our thinking and opening our closed stubborn minds He will reveal His purpose for us. His will is good and pleasing and perfect. Praying this day we stop copying others and become the individual God has called us to be.
