The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, those who are here today, all of us who are alive.
God’s promises, every single promise is for us. Today they are ours. His promise of favor is ours. His promise of protection is ours. His promise of healing is ours. His promise of guidance, deliverance, repentance, mercy and grace are ours. He does not go back on His word. He is faithful. Each and every promise found in scripture is ours to claim. A covenant indicates an agreement between two individuals or parties. God has entered this covenant with us. It is our choice to enter the covenant with Him. The question before us is do we have the faith to take God at His word? Praying this day we enter this covenant and claim the promises of God.
