Ask, and it will be given to you ; seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you.
Ask, seek and knock are all verbs–action words. We must take action. We must ask, petition heaven for our needs. We must seek, search for God’s will. Knock on the spiritual doors to enter a divine relationship with Christ. The other thing we should notice–these words are present tense, meaning in the here and now. Today we are to take action. What are you asking God today? What is your heart searching for today? What paths are you desiring to be opened for you today? Our faith confirms our asking, seeking and knocking will be answered, found and opened by our Heavenly Father. Praying this day we have the courage to ask, seek and knock.
