And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
The grace of Christ is enough. There are no more sacrifices needed. His sacrifice is perfect before God. God recognized mankind’s weakness. He has promised not only grace but strength. He provides His strength in our weak moments. We can depend on Him. It’s okay to need Him. It’s okay for us not to be able to handle every obstacle that comes our way alone. The power of Christ is mightier than the foes we face. We often forget Christ’s power has been given to us. We have become so conditioned to depend on ourselves. The enemy wants us to believe it’s up to us alone. He doesn’t want us to remember that greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world. He doesn’t want us to believe all things are possible with God. He wants us to forget that when God is for us who can dare be against us. Grace and strength are ours through the unmatched power of Christ. Praying this day we boast of our infirmities and allow the power of Almighty God to rest upon us.
