1 Thessalonians 5:25

This short verse speaks volumes. We all need prayer. We need someone standing in the gap for us. We need believers standing in one accord. It is not a sign of weakness to ask for prayer. It is a sign of faith. How many times has someone asked for our prayers and we assure them we will pray for them, but in the busyness of our lives we simply forget?  We definitely intend to do so but we don’t.  Prayer is the spiritual weapon we all have. It is a weapon given to fight spiritual wars. Not only is it a privilege,  but it our duty as believers. Encourage one another with prayer. When someone asks you to pray for them tell them that you have a better idea. Tell them you want to pray with them right then.  Pray for them that very moment. Immediately two are in agreement and you have assured that person you will pray for them. It’s a moment of faith.  Praying this day we pray for others.
