My little children, let us not love in word or tongue, but in deed and in truth.
The word “love” is used in lots of ways. We love pizza. We love that car or outfit. We love that movie. We often say we love others. It’s very easy to say we “love” but do our actions show love? Are we sincere in extending love like Jesus. A few years back a phrase came out. It was put on t-shirts, bracelets and bumper stickers. WWJD standing for “what would Jesus do.” It’s very simple. Jesus would love. That was the base of His entire life and ministry. He didn’t veer from it. He preached it, but more importantly He lived it. He lived it all the way to the cross. Love, that’s what Jesus did. His actions spoke louder than His words. Praying this day we allow our actions and deeds demonstrate our love for others.
