Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Our Heavenly Father loves us and has welcomed us into His family. Our adoption was certified at Calvary. He gave His only begotten Son that we might become sons and daughters for eternity. No act is grander. Christ our brother paid the price. We now are members of His family. We have a heritage and inheritance like no other. With this we also have a responsibility to represent the family with grace and mercy. In doing so the world doesn’t understand. The world desires revenge and self righteousness. The world doesn’t know our Father and pushes us away. We have to keep faithful to our family values and remember Jesus overcame the world. We didn’t deserve God’s love, but He gave it. Many we meet don’t deserve our love but we’re called to give it. That’s what this family of God’s is asked to do. Praying this day we behave according to our Father’s expectations.
